Build Night Jan 25 TV-B-Gone

SURPRISE.

Vince was kind enough to hold the planning meeting at a different time.

Sooo we can have a Build night this Tuesday.  This will be a soldering night.

And the question is "Tom do you need anything?"

I know Steve was going to bring 8 pin sockets and I am bringing a glue gun.  Vince can you bring extra soldering irons incase someone needs to borrow one?

Bring a case for the project if you want.

Maker's Night Out - Building an Audio Amplifier Circuit

The schematic we used for our amplifiers required just a few components. A resistor, potentiometer, two capacitors, and an operational amplifier integrated circuit chip.

Makers Night Out - Styrofoam Plate Speakers - Aug. 31, 2010

As Seen in MAKE

Last Tuesday we chose this fun and easy project, it's found in Make Magazine #12 on page 131, titled "Styrofoam Plate Speaker".

We had a good crowd of about 12 people including some new visitors who learned about us from the recent KC Mini Maker Faire.
