Riverfest Mini Maker Faire - August 19 - 21

Kansas City's original grass-roots mini Maker Faire is returning again this year as part of Parkville Day's Riverfest, August 19 - 21.

We have our work ahead of us as flooding along the Missouri River is expected to continue into August. Plans are being made in the event we need to move to higher ground.

Volunteer check point

When you go down to Parkville check in at the American Legion for a volunteer tag.  The AL is next to Stone Canyon as you turn toward the tracks.  The tag lets you into the sandbag areas.

We need to pick up several of the power wheel cars and help move chemicals and product upstairs.

If anyone knows how to reach Nic and Gustave we would like for them to get the lumber out.

No tools are needed but it is hot work.  Dress accordingly and bring an ice chest with cool liquids to drink.
